When I make 2.0s, can I put articles about anything and randomly insert the KWs I want to rank for?

Say the 2.0 is to rank a car accessory site. Can I write an article about my political opinions on a site like xyzkeywords.wordpress.com, and insert xyzkeywords in random parts of the article? Would this still work?

No, you should write articles related to your niche.

Correct, it is much better to have articles covering your niche

G00gle understands what your article is about in part based on the context of the content around your keywords.

I understand that it would help more to write about your niche and not have the exact keyword then to have the exact keyword and not write about your niche. Of course the best is to do both.

Feel free for the more experienced to set me straight here :)

Depending on what tier link you are using It for I guess. If you want to do low quality spam tier two or three links then go for it. I would still not recommend it but its not really going to hurt your site. If you are doing it for tier 1 web 2.0's you need content related to your niche and it needs to be high quality.

And what about the filler articles?, with no links on them. Does the content matter or does it only matter in the articles you put your keyword in?

Like I said if its tier 1 links yes all the content on the web 2.0 should be related to the niche and keyword. You should have about 4-8 posts in the web 2.0 all related to niche. One of the posts should be SEO optimized and have a link to whatever site you are ranking.

You've full control over web2.0 when you create them, why get backlinks from other irrelevant topics when you can make it relevant?
