When do grocery stores payout companies??

For example do they payout Gatorade before they put the drink in the store? Or ... does Gatorade get paid after the sale has been made in the store?

I suppose grocery stores do their shopping at wholesale suppliers not at for example Gatorade itself. There they can use for example trade credit (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trade_credit) or something like that. I think it also depends on how often do they trade and the relationship with the seller.
