I think there wasn't any major customisation made. The theme stylesheet looks almost empty. Hard to tell though, because they are using auto optimize plugin, so the all the stylesheets (including any custom stylesheets that might be there) are combined and minified. By looking at the site, it looks more like they ruined the theme; than improving it lol.
