WhatsApp Numbers Block Rate?

I am wondering how strict is WhatsApp when blocking Phone Numbers.

As you know, when you are receiving a message from a WhatsApp number you don't have in your contact list you have 3 options:

• Block
• Report
• Add to Contacts

How many "Block" or "Report" signals does WhatsApp need to consider a Phone Number spammy, and therefore block it?

If it's a new account, and the new number does not appear in any contact list, about 3 to 5 Report and the account will be blocked.

From what I know 2 reports are sufficient for Whatsapp to add the number to 'Watchlist’ to 'Investigating' and 'Monitoring' the person’s activities and eventually permanently banning.

Damn, that's a pretty strict block rate. I thought it was like 50-100 reports.

The business got 345 complaints from India, where it has 530 million users, between May 15 and June 15. These included 20 other support difficulties, 204 cases of users appealing the fact that their accounts had been blocked (it acted against 63), and 70 cases of account support, where customers reported account concerns but took no action.

WhatsApp will block your account if a lot of users block you or report you on the app even if these people are on your contact list. However, it is entirely on WhatsApp to decide what it constitutes obscene, defamatory and threatening message. Therefore there is no ballpark to estimate or know the same.
