I post my links in video comments like, 'mysite(dot)com/videos/46247', and it shows up just like that, a-okay. But, when I copy/paste it from the comments into something, it shows up 'mysite(dot)com/videos/462-47'. Where the Hell did that dash come from? Anyone have anything like this happen to them? a possible fix? any help's much appreciated as I can't find any elsewhere.

That's pretty weird, You sure it's not your browser?

Ive never heard of this problem but all i could suggest is trying other browsers.

Thanks. Ok I tried it Using Firefox. I posted the link in a comment for a video, 'mysite(dot)com/videos/ldygatkd86/'. I copied it from the posted comment, and pasted it in the next tab's url field. Everything okay, the mysterious dash doesn't show up. However, after hitting enter, the '/ldygatkd86/' part of my url transforms to '/ldy%C2%ADgatkd86/%EF%BB%BF/' & I get a 404 error. I then took the copied url from the clipboard and pasted it into the url field in IE; the mysterious dash shows up again; I get '/ldy-gatkd86/', and an obvious 404 error after hitting enter.

Hmm very strange.

PM Me the video your comment is on if you want so i can try.

smh, even with shorter links I'm having trouble. Can anyone else help? This is a stupid fucking problem to have. But, it is a problem nonetheless.

PM a URL to a video on your site and a sample of this on YouTube and I'll take a look.

Very strange!
Remember, if you are trying to put live links in the comment box, forget it! it's not gonna happen.
If not you can PM me the URL and I will try to see what the actual problem is.

Works 100% fine on Firefox and Chrome.

Internet Explorer adds the "-" you were talking about and 1 of those box character at the end.

It's very strange indeed, I would change the url, Make your own re-direct link or something.
