What's your worst case scenario as to hop/order?

I'm promoting a high-gravity weight loss product(with non-SEO traffic directly sent to sales page, I would say it's fairly targeted), and the results are disappointing: 1,747 hops and no order till now.

Just curious, what are your numbers? I'm considering to change products since it's not converting.

    Please give some advice.

facing the same problem lots of hops and no conversion, this is for about 4 products as well, all highly relevant and popular for the niche I am working in.

What's your number? I'm kinda looking for the tolerance limit before I decided to use the traffic to do something else.

Does the landing page have an email signup or other non-payment conversion point?
I know these are supposed to credit you if they then buy via email, but im always sceptical.

Also, how are you tracking visitors? Im fairly sure hops can be triggered by SE spiders and other bots, so dont mean a lot, but its been a while since i did clickbank.

I always avoid products with a landing page collecting emails, it's distracting and I would rather sending traffic to my own squeeze page.

I simply check them in CB, are you sure SE spiders and other bots would generate a lot of hop counts?

What do you mean by pre-sold? $1 trial? If so, yes.

Stay away from high-gravity products. They don't convert as well. Choose the newer, lesser known products with good landing pages...especially ones with video sales letters.

I average between 200 and 400 hops per order. I have had as high as 1,000 hops with no order and I've seen multiple times where I get multiple orders within 10 hops.

I'm using high gravity products with only semi targeted traffic, it converts pretty well.

btw: stay away from weight loss and IM products on clickbank, when you do manage to get sales it ends up refunded a few days later at a very high %

May I know your traffic source? And how do you promote them(directly to their sales page or to your own review/intro page first)?
