Your ISP is Romtelecom, stop posting ref links, Horia Alexandru Sicoe.

pretty simple to find my isp with google, cause I used the same xslayerx96 nickname for a speedtest.net result. But this post isn't about that. It's about your opinion of the new fast views feature

Do you really think that somebody will believe this? The positioning of that ref link tells a lot about your intentions, edit that post and remove that link if you wanna read our opinions.

Man, I'm getting tired of all the failure of promotionals for the service. If you really thought about it, you could come from the point of buying jrvip, pay $30 for a mod to approve your sales thread, and then finally resell the views at a nice price. Evil method ftw.

Update : So i spent 23000 + 500 credits on the vid. The original views were 3000, now, after 2 days they are not 26000, but 32000! Special thanks to djlobo and the rest of the u2bviews team.

to DragonLord: according to the analytics at 30 seconds 25% of the audience still watches. It drops to 2% at 1:08 and stays at this 1-2% till the end of the vid, which in this case it's 4 minutes. I don't think these are great retention results but at least they aren't 0% from the first half minute.

I've made the statistics on the vid public. If anyone wants to see them, pm me

So is it always just a percentage of the video or would shorter videos get a higher retention rate?

I think a 5 minute video watched 1 minute and then complete drop 0% till the end is as valuable as a 1 minute long video which is watched completely. That's my opinion, haven't tested it, and can't confirm yet.
But a 5 minute video watched all 5 minutes, gets the biggets ranking obviously.
Google introduced retention in ranking for one purpose, and thats the ads. They will put the most relevant(tags, title, description, other metadata), and most watched(retention) videos on the top of the search. Thats why i think for them the 5 minute vid is the same as the 1 minute one if both are 1 minute watched, not necesarelly completely watched. for example: 100 hours of nyan cat. I saw it many times on suggestions. Probably 10 people let their pc open for 4 days just for the fun of "watching it completely", but most people stay 2 minutes..

Talking about the relevance, i have seen very innapropiate ads on my vids -and not just mine- no relation whatsoever. I can't screw every time the tags, and find the same boring "win an iphone/become an american citizen/play travian" ads everywhere. Maybe, we should make a little analysis of the ads, who's paying them, and concentrate some of our tags on them.
