    Hello Advertisers,

What would be your #1 tip to a complete newbie trying to get started in media buying?

Personally, I'd say.. Don't be hesitant to lose money at first and buy enough data.

Know your audience inside and out. You really do need to know your audience very well in order to convert them into sales.

Preach, Preach, Preach. Gotta have some capital for testing too.

Agreed with research and testing obviously, more specifically spy tools are helpful to tell what's already working

Be prepared to lose your initial investment, but also be ready to use that data to bank future investments.

This is what i actually did when i started out. Also always ask if you are not sure what to do. There are many people who will help you in the forums.

My advice: as soon as you join a network, you need to start testing.

Don't care about probable fluctuations in traffic or user behaviour: make sure you test during the course of a few days in order to get the info you need and reach a conclusion about the market, offer type, carrier, operating system you're exploring.

This is the key to success!

    Cheers!
