Well in india, i guess it costs more than other countries! I get 256kbps connection (which is divided by 8 if we call it kilobyte) at Rs.725 which is around 17$. Data transfer is unlimited. In Rs.999, they give 2mbps (again divided by 8) with just 2GB data transfer! Wtf! And Rs.0.80 ($1 = Rs.45) per mb if i exceed that limit!

I am sure that its cheaper in other countries.

I pay .... 0$ and I get 10.5 meg downstream and 2.1 meg upstream.. thats pretty decent i'd say :) 256kbps = .25meg downstream. you can do the math

I can get a dedicated server in us with 100mbps speed at 149$. Quad core, 2GB Ram, 250GB HDD and 4000GB Bandwidth then why pay 200$ for shitty 24mbps!
