My best tip is Twitter Money Bot.
I don't know if this is going to help you but social media management tools are lifesavers for me and cuts my time in half, instead of posting on multiple accounts one by one. Just a single click and poof! Done.
Content that is interesting and people will want to read and follow!
Automation and ability to scale.
That alone will make you big money, with any social media.

Then I automate, scale, and bank

There are many tips for social media marketing. You can use Linkedin tags for the improvement of social media marketing. You can align content development with social media metrics and goals.
Go where the people are.
If you're new to the game, don't force yourself unto Twitter or Tumblr. People's attention are now on Instagram and Snapchat. Go there.
Facebook will always be there. So yes, invest on Facebook too. Don't bother trying to make so many things work. You don't need to invest a lot of time and resources on Google+. Just focus on where YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE IS.
If they are 30-40+, then Facebook and LinkedIn would be great platforms. If you're targeting teens to 28 years old, Instagram and Snapchat.
Know who your target market is, and market to them on the platform that they are using.
Better if you have a long term plan. Just Make yourself a brand at first. Then another works will be easier.

Interacting with your customers on social media can be a wonderful way to generate leads, and even bring in new customers from your customer's social circle. Marketing is no longer a one-way proposition but is becoming more of an extended conversation or relationship with the people who patronize your business. Marketing, in short, is personal. You are speaking to the wants and needs of your customers, but in turn they are talking back to you either directly via email or a contact form on your website, or by interacting with your social media presence as they like and share your content.
I vote for the best social media marketing is Facebook marketing. You can create a ecommerce web page in FB which contains the back affiliate link of selling sites as Amazon. Then you can get money for each transaction happened for products buying
You can obviously leverage media outlets such as Facebook, Twitter, using their traditional means of PPC advertisement.
Target niche audience, rather than promoting to wrong audience.
Separate names with a comma.
