What's your best method for finding low competition keyword? I have access to Moz and Ahref.

If there's a good blog or article about this please link to it.

I'll tell you exactly how to do it.

You need a list of niches, 1000's of them. You can get them by scraping ecommerce stores like ebay and amazon.

Run them all through a keyword suggestion tool, to generate even more keywords. Get rid of those under 1000 searches a month.

Run all these through your tools on ahrefs and moz, remember you should really analyse the entire page 1, so again your 10,000+ keywords turns into 100,000 things you need to anaylise.

Take the metrics they score from these tools, you now need to create an algorithm which turns these metrics into something useful.

Run all these metrics through the algorithm to score them to your own standard.

Rank them in order, start with the lowest scoring keywords. Run them through google trends, get rid of seasonal shit.

Find products on amazon, get rid of those where the average value is less than $100

And after all these weeks of work, you're going to be left with 6 or so good keywords. Nice.

or you can just save your time and money and head to the market place......

Yea...was going to say you could spend a lot of time doing it yourself or head to the marketplace and pay someone else to (I prefer the latter).

    Thanks for reply.

Actually I'm only interested in keywords in my niche. When I do a search on semrush and Ahref I see that most of the keywords have below 200-300 searches. Should I focus on such keywords?

Anything less than 1000MS is a waste of time.
