What's your average CPC on Adsense?

Mine varies between 0.01-$0.5 it is terrible. I used to be able to optimise for better cps but I have forgotten how. any ideas? I have a few thousand unique visitors per day, low bounce rate, read time of average 2m. Niche is tech news

mostly $0.02-$0.1 , its for local site/3rd tier country language.
