so this guy on fiverr (supposedly a super seller) blogs: he quit being a lawyer and makes a (obviously very good) living on fiverr. so i looked at his gigs. he has 68 gigs in queue. average delivery time is 5 days (mostly article writing). 68*5/5 is $68/day, after 20% fiverr fee, $51/day? If his average order is 4 gigs, it's be $204/day. then he will be writing 68*4/5= about 55 articles a day or like 5 minutes per article? assuming he works 5 days a week, 8 hours a day.

Still $1200/week (seemingly a stretch to me) is hardly a "very good" living, especially if compared to an average lawyer. what's wrong with my math here?

Are you looking at the extras? I would say that 50% of all my orders get extras which sometime equal 80.00 or more with the average being 25.00 per order.

1) What country is he from?

2) Not all lawyers make good money. Many can't find stable work.

3) Delivery time is the deadline, not an absolute. The 5 day deadline may be a CYA technique in case something comes up.

The number of orders in queue is not necessarily an accurate representation of how many gigs are actually ordered. If someone bundles orders or orders gig extras that will simply be counted as 1 gig. They also may deliver in well under the allotted time (while my gig says 3 days, it's closer to 48 hours).

If im right he is pighead from Vietnam

like i have calculated, he already has to write each article in 5 minutes. how do you even get any more work done (to make more money)?
probably true not every lawyer gets work, but i would say $1200/week should still be below average?

1200$ in vietnam, that's a lot of money. Even if he pays 150$/week to two "ghostwriter" 900 a week is still good money. A typical wage is around 100$ a month.

looks like people here have something against vietnamese, trying to get any opportunity there is to insult them?
the guy i referred to is not even a vietnamese - its a white guy speaking perfect english. for pete sake.
