I'm talking about 000webhost.I'm already using it for an article website wich receives some good traffic and the site is verry fast.

We can get EMD for 1$/year,so the hosting is what takes most of the money.

What would be the disatvantages of having multiple MNS websites on free hosting?

If it works for you, keep running. Problem being, you don't really own these sites if you don't host them yourselves. Whoever hosts them for you can pull your sites down at any time for any reason.

Since a hosting account is maybe 8-10 bucks per month... And you plan to make money from your MNS... Bite the bullet and get your own hosting.

It's the cost of doing biz.

Better that than waking up one day and finding all of your MNS have disappeared for a violation of someone's TOS or whatever...

Wouldn't that also apply to paid hosting too? Although the TOS might be more flexible.

    No, and here's why.

For example, Blogger is owned by Google. If you used them to set up MNS and promoted a product they didn't like, or backlinked to the wrong guys, or violated a TOS that you had no idea about, you would see your sites vanish (happened to me).

With your own hosting account, you can promote whatever you want, link to whatever you want, etc.

Unless you are very blackhat and bust your paid hosting TOS, you simply have more control over your own work.

If you're going to go really blackhat, then find a hosting company on BHW that is offshore and doesn't care what you do.

Again, if it is working for him, more power... But watching three months of work vanish overnight will really chap you ass.

And for me, it is worth the paid hosting option since it is dirt cheap (30 cents a day...)

So the only disatvantage would be to lose the content in case of tos breaking?

Yeah. That's right. I agree that TOS is definitely more strict on free hosting, but that's the part of you get what you paid for :). Pay for more and get away with more stuff. Although, I don't really think MNS sites are against the TOS if you use sites like 000webhost. But yeah, just back data up constantly (onto your own computer) and if you do get banned, quickly switch to a paid hosting :).
