    Hi,

This is just a question that I want to put out there for the wider SEO community. Can you share your opinion and experience on which you think is better.

Please say what you think is worth more (in terms of money) and what you think works better in terms of SEO benefit - if you could only have one.

    Options:

-> Forum profile links: These are just the standard profile links created by Xrumer

-> Blog comment links: These are just the standard blog comment links you get from using ScrapeBox

-> Blog comment links on moderated blogs: These are relevant comments to the topic (so that they get accepted by the admin) on moderated blogs

What do you think? Please voice your opinion :)

23 views and no comments or votes? Maybe the black hat section would have been better!

    Home Page:
I'm pretty sure anything that looks manual, like a moderated blog comment on a page that isn't spammed, is going to be worth more to google than something automated. backlinks are good, but 5k profile links aren't fooling google. they know the difference.

I can see what you mean, but I think that there are probably some users on here who have experienced doing SEO with the above three cases/scenarios, so I don't believe the question to be as ambiguous as it may first lend itself to be.

As efwebs said.. I vote for Blog comment links on moderated blogs.. The obl will be obviously low for these moderated blogs and sure there is more consideration for these links from google.. All autoapproved blogs will be surely blasted and yes.. if you find they are do-follow and with low obl they too count on..

    They are both the same:

Twice the length from the middle to the end :D

I wish I knew that answer in school. That would have shut up some teachers (probably get me some lines at the same time though lol).

    As for your question:

    D) High PR do follow comments on blogs with your anchor text.

    (so "c" is the closest)

    Ok then.....

For the sake of completeness, an on-topic, relevant, manually approved comment, on a d0follow blog, on a page of a relevant authority domain that itself has a high volume of relevant links from d0follow authority domains would be worth more than the other options you have posted.

But it that all sounds a little difficult then there are easier methods to get decent backlinks.

    Many have already said.

Use "white" Sites. Blog or Forum donĀ“t matter.

If you somehow took offense from my reply, then I apologise as it was not meant that way. It seems your comment above was posted out of anger/retaliation at me - so if I sounded like I was coming off the wrong way with my reply - sorry.

I was hoping for a reply based on the three options I have, not on other options. Right now, I don't have the ability to do what you have suggested, that's why I did not include it in the poll question.

    Thank you

A link from a trusted domain. I don't care if my link comes from a forum profile, a forum most sig, a moderated or un-moderated blog. As long as that site is trusted in the eyes of Google then I'll take a link from it.

Of course there is the matter of whether the link placed there is a naked link, brand link, main keyword or misc. :)

    It's all about balance.

Browsing the forum, reached the bottom of the page where the related posts are and clicked on one of interest......

Your observation skills are excellent by the way. Better than mine as I didn't see the age of the thread but then is that really an issue?

    P.S - You've also replied to a 3 year old thread now.

2 - 3 years old threads must be closed for posts.

Otherwise many of us will update it with the latest happenings.
