Lately, I mean in the past 2 weeks I've seen an unusual amount of basic "Help me" threads and I wonder why so many. Did someone just blast out his bhw referral link or did another IM forum just close down? This needs to be stopped. They're just creating rubbish threads and making it harder to find the quality ones. Most of the questions asked have already been answered somewhere on the internet that they can search for and read.

It is frustrating seeing people ask questions that would be better solved if typed directly into Google.

I thought it was partly due to warrior forum charging $10 to create an account

    Reasons:

    1) DP has become a junkyard.
    2) Warrior forum charging $10
    3) Others IM forums suck to core. Some of them are full of bullsh*t.
    4) Last but not the least, BHW has emerged as the only forum which is maintaining high quality and standard.

    Cheers :)

Due to the changing climate of IM, and the way other forums are acting, like WF has introduced the 10$ fee system, We need to make certain changes over here so that we can maintain our high quality and not go down like DP. We take huge pride in that fact we are no.1 IM forum. But this title needs to be defended aggressively.

A small change will be delete a trash or rubbish thread 24 hours after it has started.
Another change that we can think about is that whenever a member reaches 10 or 20 or 50 or 100 post, his past posts should be checked and if it found that 50% or more are irrelevant then he/she should be kicked out.

As others have said, its probably due to the fact that Wafo now charge for a sign up to their website.

However, there are going to be "noobs" everywhere. I was a "noob" a few years ago but I get what you are saying. Someone needs to create a tutorial/thread on how to use the search box in the corner. That would help tons of people who just sign up.
