    Hello,
Lots of sites offer tens of thousands ''real'' visitors for a couple of bucks. What
would be the use of that? I know the visitors won't click anything or read or comment, but could it be good for seo or something or boost my rankings?
Because if it doesn't, it seems completely useless to me...

Let's make it clear I don't mean ppc or something but bought traffic.

    Thanks in advance,
    Woerd

How do you know the visitor won't click or read anything?

Depends on the provider though too.

I think it improves your Alexa ranking. And you may get a couple of leads you never know. There are other uses too, you just have to think a bit. Cheers.

To succeed with paid traffic, yоu'vе gоt to yоu know уоur numbers. You nееd to know whаt уou'rе paying for the traffic, аnd hоw much уоu're getting back from thе expenditure. Spend а buck... bring іn more thаn а buck. This balance depends on varіous factors ranging from the audience yоu're attracting, to yоur offer, to your sales copy аnd funnel, etc. etc.

It's hit and miss, sо уоu nееd tо test too.

Just an example. I know ezinearticles has done a lot of changes, but it might still work this way. The more traffic your article receives, it ends up in the "most viewed list" for that category. The backlink to that article then appears on every single article in that category.

So lets say your article sits in a category that has 10,000 other articles in it. Then your article rises to "most viewed" status. It instantly gets 10,000 internal backlinks within ezinearticles, from all the other related pages.

This then gives your ezinearticle a higher pagerank (it flows more PR to your website), and it also gives your article at ezinearticles 10k internal backlinks with anchor text, meaning it is a whole lot more likely to rank #1 in Google.

I don't know if it still works like this, but this used to be how Squidoo worked as well. There are probably dozens of different platforms where your page gets thousands of internal backlinks once your page has received a certain level of traffic.

Don't fall for these bro, except improving alexa, most of these are useless

No one will sell "targeted" traffic, specially for the very low prices offered

    - It can be useful for sending to scripted traffic trades or shit like wahoha ie. you trade those shitty visitors for surfers who are hopefully more productive.

    - It makes your traffic stats look good if you're trying to sell the site to clueless buyers.
