Hi broskies!

How is google adsense standing right now, they removed CPC as I heard on reddit.

Is it worth to start right now ?

For this month, one of my clients who owns 3 blogs has made $380 so far this month. His total monthly traffic on all 3 of them is approximately 25K unique visitors per month. So, I guess it is still worth starting out if you know what you are doing. Side income through blogging is totally possible but you need to experiment a bit to find out what works best for you and your sites. :)

How does he gain traffic, any paid traffic from google or facebook for starting out?

He gets his traffic from Google. All organic and SEO traffic. I think AdSense bans you if you route too much traffic from places like Facebook. But again, I might be wrong.

Yes, paid ads for adsense traffic is risky. Social traffic can be risky too if the quality is shit

I was making traffic from facebook groups mostly, and had no problems gaining traffic from socials. But didn't do paid ads, so I was thinking to go with that, try it out with social traffic and paid ads.

it's arguably better now for smaller sites. Might be worse for bigger sites. Its more consistent now for lower site though. Keep in mind advertisers are still readjusting their budget floors.

Arbitrage from fb ads will become more profitable now? What would be rpm in seo services niche I wonder...

In which sense it's better for smaller sites ?
I think now ad arbitrage from fb can be more profitable and the only way to gain after this update.

What do you think is the best goal to go for, traffic ads going towards website or engagement ad, or maybe both to boost post in both ways so more people click on it?

Yes.. I wonder how will they check the quality of traffic , if for example someone will drive unrelated traffic to the niche.
I think traffic ads (website visits) is the way to go.

Well I was thinking targeting people that are interested in that niche of website, creating/buying facebook page and creating/buying facebook group, everything that is in the niche of my website, so the people who I'm targeting are actually interested in content that I am publishing.
I would also try making click baiting headlines here and there, to boost traffic, but not too much to avoid creating bad impressions from people if I bombard them with fake/missleading titles.

Well I don't know, in terms of earning, seems not much difference, but maybe very slightly low a bit, maybe not, I can't say it for sure.

I think the change wouldn't make much difference. I've not been using Adsense for a while now, so I can't give you full review of how it's going so far.

Paid ads for adsense gain is super tricky...especially with google changjng things every 2 weeks. I feel you'd have tk be an ads expert forst to make this work properly
