Trying to find out what the easiest way to turn an Amazon product link into an affiliate link is.

    eg this link...
    Code:
    [URL]http://www.amazon.com/The-Blind-Side-Sandra-Bullock/dp/B002VECM6S/[/URL]
I just read a page that says you just need to add your affiliate tag to the url like this...
    Code:
    [URL]http://www.amazon.com/The-Blind-Side-Sandra-Bullock/dp/B002VECM6S/[/URL]myaffiliatetag
but the page is from 2010 so is this still true? Im having to go through their build a link thing which is a bit time consuming

can anyone confirm this before i go and build a load of duff links?

You would go 'link to this page', then 'text only', then copy the url in the 'a href' attribute (the url before the img src="...)

I'd paste the link, but I can't paste the link :(

    But basically you put ?tag=youraff-20

scrap the ASIN code in the HTML and go this way : http://www.amazon.fr/exec/obidos/ASIN/"asin-item-cde"/"affiliate-tag"
