Just wondering if this would benefit my rankings or I'm wasting my time:
Let's say I have a site.. mydomain.com that has a couple high PR gov/edu links to, say, mydomain.com/politics/ and mydomain.com/religion/
the edu and gov links are anchor texted and d0foll0w as mydomain.com/ (no keyword anchor text, my URL is the anchor text)
Would there be any benefit in, say, 301ing mydomain.com/politics to a money site I own? I know it wouldn't show in the backlink checker but would it still give me .gov or .edu link juice even with no keyword/anchor text?
I can't monetize mydomain.com/ because it's not a site I can turn into my money site for a few miscellaneous reasons, but I no longer need the subpages that have the gov and edu links.
Thanks in advance.
