So, I have an Amazon Affiliate Website. It has decent conversion and organic growth is also picking up. However, there is one post, it is a "vs" post and the price of the product is around $3000. This post is getting 12 organic traffic every day for the past one month, but it is still not converting. Is it because that product is expensive that's why no one is buying? Does anyone have experienced the same thing?

Either get more traffic by doing off-page SEO or move on. 12 users/day is something you should ignore.

For expensive items, most people put the item in their cart & order later once they are certain about buying.
Consider using the add to cart link which extends the cookie duration to 90 days instead of only 24 hours.
Will I not be banned, if I use cart link?

For how long have you been getting 12 users/day? 1 week? 2weeks?

It is already ranking on first page, first rank.
I think the search volume (or your CTR) is too low. In some cases, you'll find other marketers and bots visiting your site for testing or scraping. So it's difficult to say if all users are real people. Moreover, the sales are less for expensive products as people take opinion from multiple sources.

the add to cart button stuff for amz tends to lower conversion rates

Buying keyword and the keyword ranking is most important here. make sure its buying keyword, readable informative article on land page, how long they r staying on Your page( site loading speed), keyword current position on search

I had a website I sold a while ago on a niche where all products were expensive - starting at $600 up to $7000 - that converted quite well from low volume traffic.
Maybe you should try this strategy as well - a lot of expensive products featured on your site.

Did you add "add to cart link"?

CTR is 43.1%
