What's the real story about CPA offers?

I am trying to get started with CPA offers and here's what I am trying to figure out:

Are you allowed or not to drive PPV traffic to CPA offers? When I say PPV, I mean popups served by various networks, mostly from adware or popunders. Or will the CPA network disqualify your traffic and the money you have made?

Are you allowed or not to drive traffic to CPA offers without having a content site on the topic you want to advertise? For example, say I have an Acai Berry site but I want to advertise a Credit Report offer. So I set up a URL on my site which immediately redirects to the offer itself, so the person who clicked the link or got an impression served only sees the offer and not my site.

I am getting wishy-washy answers from the CPA networks themselves. As if the answer is Yes and No at the same time. If anyone knows, please reply! Thank you.

It depends on the network. Most CPA offers will tell you the kind of traffic each offer will allow. PPV traffic is good for 'contextual' offers. However, some offers only allow email traffic or search engine traffic.

Ok, suppose I have a site on nutrition and I find a CPA offer I really like in a totally unrelated niche and I want to promote that offer via PPV. So I buy PPV traffic and direct it right to the offer encoded with my affiliate ID. Is this allowed???

Mark - Great to see you hear in blackhatworld, asking questions.

But all your questions would be perfect for your AM to answer.

yes I agree with sooner it all depends on the network your with. Some will allow and some will depends on the offer. your affiliate manager can definitely help with this. There are many courses for ppv and CPA offers which ones work best good luck:biggthump

All CPA networks are different, and ALL advertisers on there are different. When you look at the advertisers offer, you should see it say "Incentive Traffic prohibited, cannot be advertised through social media, craigslist or through iFraming. No email traffic", etc... The terms should be right there.
If it isn't and you don't want to hide your tracks (through DMR/Spoofing/Blanking referrer), just ask your AM.
