    Hello, blackhatters.
So I wonder as the title says, what is the ratio of followers to clicks?
Say I have 10k followers on my Tumblr blog. How much clicks to the external link shall I expect?
    Whats your experience?
    Share please. Thanks.

It depends on several things : the quality of your content, how targetted it is for your audience, the timing of the post, and so on.

Guess it can depend on your niche. Average of 5-10% for me, but I have seen some of the guys with adult blogs do much better. I have had many extremely popular posts appearing at the top of searches for #funny, #lol, #thug life and many others, but the clicks always remain the same.

Thanks for your reply. So its like 500-1000 clicks to an outgoing link from 10k followers, right?
I wonder because I got 35 clicks to my link that was re-blogged by a fiverr seller to his 354k folowers blog as he says. I think he just posted to a much smaller blog thats what I think.

Yeah, he doesn't have 354k followers. Just look at the number of notes.

It depends on too much to really say, but 35 clicks from 350k followers isn't real. He probably has 1k real followers.

I'm not not comparing the amount of clicks to the amount of followers I have. talking about the notes. If a post of mine gets about 1000 notes it usually averages me about 50-100 clicks. And I've tried that same Fiverr gig you're talking about and wasted my money. That gig has like 800 reviews so I'm pretty sure he has just spammed the crap out of his page to the point his followers don't even care to interact with anything anymore. I was thinking about buying a few of the reblog gigs there that only have a few reviews to see where that gets me.

I have 570k and I also get a low engagement. Not because I spammed them to death (not more than 7 ads per day), but because of low exposure time. I reblog 220 posts per day (to gain followers), so an ad only stay on top for a limited time. I do reblog my own Teespring stuff a lot though, (~100k notes, 22k clicks, good amount sold but still bit disappointing). Another reason can be that half of his followers is inactive. Always check the archive, when did he start his blog? For every month past 12 months take off x% of his follower amount.

    Thanks.
So its 5-10 percent clicks from the notes amount. And then what is the ratio of followers to notes?

That isn't possible to say without having some data. Take two of my blogs for example:

    blog1.png blog2.png

    blog 1 has a ratio of 10.22
    blog 2 has a ratio of 3.56

both blogs post 220 images per day (didn't post anything around 9/11)
We can only make an estimate if we know your niche and the amount of posts per day.

Thanks for your reply. I think you are getting lower amount of notes because of the big amount of posts. Isnt it? I just googled and found a blog with a ratio of almost 10 percent notes from followers. Thinking that the less you post and re-blog the more exposure you get. Am I right?
Also the re-blogging thing. Does it gain you followers? So that people see that you re-blog them and follow you?

Also guys, do you use any tools? Looking to buy tumblingjazz, is it a good choice?

I started out posting content, but now I got a bit scared because I absolutely don't want to get sued (does anyone of you have tips on that?). The ROI on that is huge! Now I use qplus, and I only use 5 sources (5 people I reblog from) per blog. Yes, you will get more notes per post (not total), but less followers if you post less.

I don't know if I'm doing an extremely bad job, but I got around 100 clicks in the first day with more than 200k

Can you explain me 2 things? In what way does re-blogging help to get followers?
Also, in qplus do you add all the posts yourself or is there an automated option say to re-blog by tags? Or all the sheduling needs to be done manually?

I couldn't even give you a number for that. Completely depends on the post. Some do better than others and just because a post gets a lot of likes and reblogs doesn't mean they came from your followers. A few of your followers who have a large following could have reblogged it and most of the notes could have came from their page.

It really depends a lot, and no one can really say something for sure. I would say it will be something around 3% and 15% depending on your quality and the type of traffic you're getting. It can vary a lot, and you shouldn't set your expectancies too high to begin with.
