Can you send and recieve money even if you don't verify your paypal account?

Is there a purpose another than lifting limits?

    Thanks

Well some places that pay with paypal require you to be verified.

Unverified accounts (completely unverified) can either send or receive, (depending on your country), they will never allow you to do both. They claim it's to protect everyone.

They do that so that they can limit your account and hold your money whenever they feel like it, they don't even have to explain anything to you.

And they'll call you when you transfer 'large' sums to someone else from an unverified account (I got the call a few days ago).
