Hi.

I have made some blogger blogs in the past and then used free indexing services to get them indexed. I usually get them indexed in
3-5 days max.

I recently bought 5 .org.uk domains and 301 directed them all to the same affiliate landing page. I used a bookmarking service and the owner told me the sited should be indexed within a week. It's now been 2 weeks, and not one site has been indexed.

Is it because they are all pointing to the same landing page, or some other reason?

I know it can take a while to get indexed, but thought maybe one site would be indexed by now?

Try one of the tools that pings good for you.

A 301 re-direct means that you're telling the search engines about the new location of your page or site, so there is no reason for them to keep the .org.uk sites in their index (assuming they were indexed initially).

What is the content of your blogger blogs?

But i see many people saying that they are now ranking well with 301 redirects? And no, they are not yet indexed, thats what im asking, why they are not yet indexed.

My blogger blogs are simple pages with pictures and links to my main money site. The domians i bought are redirecting to an adult dating affiliate page (all the same one). Do you think it would be better to make original sites for each domain?

Why you need days to get indexed. Use good pinging service, all my sites got indexed within hrs.

I see.. I think you should have indexed the domains first before putting a redirect. A unique 500 word article for each should be made and add contact pages, disclaimer, privacy policy, etc. Then ping it with pingler and to blogsearch google.

Because the redirection took place before indexing them.

The sequence is usually: buy high PR domains (usually already indexed) in bulk, blast them with links, then re-direct to money site.

The '301 redirect' trick isn't new, and although it has been working recently, rankings only seem to be temporary, before the site gets a penalty.

Ok, thanks for the info mate :)

So really, i would be better off just making a good blogspot page and ranking it, instead of redirecting a domain.
