I have a website that I'm developing, but I would love to see the design of a few of your wordpress sites, especially when first impressions are everything.

I have an Idea of what design I want, but Im looking for the most cost-effective way of making that happen.

I know a lot free themes won't let you customize, and even though there's a link to free premium themes on this forum, the themes are outdated and won't work with latest version of WP.

I've had three websites and hosting for the past six months, and all of them have "coming soon" on the landing page because I wan't everything to be right, but cheap as well.

How hard would it be to mimic another one page wordpress website?

And is there anyone on here that can do that?

Three websites coming soon for six months, sounds like your stuck for ideas.

With that in mind I really don't see anyone allowing you to copy their site.

You should start with something you already know about. Or if you have url' s already six months should have been ample time to research those niches and come up with ideas.

I have plenty of ideas. I just need someone to copy the theme of another website onto mine with minor alterations. However, the theme is custom made.

Why not hire a designer. 300 bucks can get u the most perfect custom theme.

First impressions definitely are everything, which is why I'm out of luck there. I don't use WordPress. (I have a blog on there, but I have my personal site hosted elsewhere, too.) I prefer full-customization: coding my web theme from scratch. But that's just me.

I personally don't think it'd be a good idea to mimic another page's wordpress theme. Some people pay good money to display the themes they have to their clients. It might bring trouble if you accidentally copy someone's paid theme, even if it is altered a bit.

Your best bet -- if you want to spend as little as possible -- is try and learn the programming of WordPress themes. But I guess that wouldn't do much good if you're entirely new to coding in general. Honestly, even if you want everything right, you should also consider the time you're taking actually finishing the sites. Having a decent, free theme as a temporary placeholder is better than having it empty. At least, until you're able to pay for a nice-looking theme.

Also, when it comes to the style of themes, keep it simple and elegant.

P.S. I don't have 15 posts yet, so no PM.
