With Craigslist (my main source of traffic) going down lately, I was wondering what some of your inputs are on how to still make $1000 per day. Obviously you need traffic, and so I have narrowed my ideas down to 4 main areas: PPC, SEO/SEM & Bum Marketing. I was just wondering if any of you had any thoughts on what would be most profitable. (I am a hard-worker, I have an understanding of computer science, and I am very smart so assume that I would be decently successful at whatever I chose.) I am aware that you can make a lot of money with PPC, but I have also heard from some members on this board that it is not really profitable unless you're one of the best PPC marketers out there. Is this just to scare the competition away, or is it really that difficult to make $1000 a day with PPC? Also, I realize that SEO and SEM are long-term, and so it would take a looong time to reach $1000 a day (with learning and everything). I am still going to learn this, but I would like to reach $1000 a day within the next few months, and so I am skeptical on relying on just this. Finally, I haven't read too much about Bum Marketing, but I have seen that it can be very profitable. My question on this is: assuming that I can write good articles, and I know what I am doing, how many hops do you think I would get per day per article? Assuming that I submitted my articles properly, how many views per day for each article do you think I could get? Basically, how much money could 1 article make per day if done right? (realistically). Would I need 1000 articles to pull in $1000/day? More? Less? Just looking for some insight, not exact methods or even niches, just the broad method (such as PPC, Bum Marketing, etc.). I don't care about investment, as long as it's not crazy amounts to begin with. Oh, and I am looking for methods that would not require 8 hrs. / day once I have everything set up. Automatable methods would be the best. Thanks, and I look forward to the expertise of this forum.
