    SOemone told me 50 yesterday.

However as he also said ppl often shop for multiple items at the same time and the tracker cookie is stored so I guess it doesnt matter so much since you get a % of total purchase right?

I would stay in the $50-$100 range. But you are correct the cookie is stored.

Even though the cookie is stored, I would aim for that $50-$100 range. Everyone's shopping habits are different.

I will say a lot of the cheaper long tail items do add up, if you do it right.

    i promote 20$ to 50$
i found that people easier buy 20$ items and the re-billing is around 0.
in the end of the day i would rather to sell 10 items of 20$ than sell 4 items with 50$.
50$ is much money for some money and if the item not the client wanted will ask for refund.
however 20$ is little money so barley you see any refund

If you sell a lot of small priced items and have good volume, once your referral rate is higher, the larger ticket items are a nice bonus.

You can have many sites pointing to the same amazon account. So if you have a few sites with large ticket items and one selling lower priced items. The idea would be you sell many smaller items to get your items sold per month up to increase your % from each sale.
