Not really too much , but what make manual win is that when you build 100's of automatic they get devalued .

If you make a few but automatic and using different kw etc it will be be best

The main drawback that I see at this point in time is that most software suites are very limited.. If they're not limited to a specific platform (WordPress, Wiki, vBulletin) then they're likely limited to specific websites such as SENuke is.

If you're wanting to use tools to build good links, then you want to use one that you can train.. For instance, the reason I don't use SENuke is that I can't teach it to register and post on anything, I can only tell it what sites that it already knows I'd like it to post on.

So if I know that I can get a good link from some site that's not supported and is not built on a platform that is supported by other packages, then I'm usually out of luck and manual building is my only option.

But I'll tell you that yesterday I found a piece called Magic Submitter, which somehow I'd never heard of before. I can teach it to do ANYTHING on ANY website, and it can then manage that site like I would. So if I wanted to go get a link from some_site.com, I just train MS how to register on that site, go post some content, maybe make a couple friends.. Then just set it on a schedule and tell it, "ok, now once every 3-4 days I want you to go here and post some new stuff and make a couple more friends." I can do this on ANY number of ANY sites that I want for ANY number of accounts (my websites) I want!

    Powerful.

And that's the way to go with automated link building, I've been manually building for months because I was searching for a tool like that. I even had one in development that I was building myself because I could not find one.. MS is exactly what I've been searching for and starting tomorrow, I expect my SEO link building to become a whole different animal.

Links from Paul and Angelas lists just don't work like they used to. I would focus very little time on forum profile links because they basically suck.

As far as the difference, it all comes down to domain and page authority and number of outbound links in my opinion. Spun content seems to be less effective these days than unique content also.

That is false, I have sites that have been ranking over 2 years with NOTHING but forum profiles.

It all boils down to not JUST POSTING FORUM PROFILES. You have to do other things to reinforce that profile page. It's a very deep page, go to any forum and browse to your profile.

Home -> Members -> All -> Letter M -> Page 7. That's not only very far away from PR, but the pages it goes through are particularly far away from PR. You need to get your profile out there. You need to index it an build authority to the page not only off site (by building crappy links to it) but onsite by placing links to your profile around the site.

If you thank people, visit profiles and many many other tricks to dropping your profile link around forums, it will mimic the effects of being an active poster on that forum. And active posting profiles are ALWAYS indexed.

    Result #1 is YOUR PROFILE.

Go do this search for other forums you actively participate in and compare it to the number of indexed profiles you have from XRumer... Then tell me why you think the index rate is so low for those profiles.

    1. Instead of blasting 50,000 shitty profiles, ending up with 10,000 working links and 100-1,000 indexed links.
    2. Focus on targeting quality forum sites for profiles, build 100-1,000 GOOD profiles and work on making them appear as active users!

There are several tools available that will do this. I have one that I offer for free here on BHW, it works in conjunction with XRumer. phpbuilt also has one that simply requires you to login via IE.
