I was browsing about how to secure your online store, and I got 1 website named rapidssl which provides ssl certificates and the price is $79 per year.
Then i try to find cheap rapid ssl certificate and got another website which provide the same certificate in $8.99 per year.

My question is rapidssl.com is the main autority site and second site that is rapidsslonline sale all sort of certificates. How they can sale in just $8.99 whats the hack they are doing to achieve this?

I'd prefer godaddy for SSL certificates as they have very efficient and prompt service...
    Prices are reasonable too :)

There is no hack they bought a ca certificate from rapidssl and now they can generatr their own ssl certs. Rapidssl backs thr ca cert and the cheaper certs lift on this but in the end are not as trustworthy as a cert u buy from rapidssl direct. In the end it does not really matter as the security level is the same, its just a level of authority trustworthyness
