i found a few domains with interesting backlinks that are ??.uk (miss-spellings mainly)

when i try to register I get rejected with this message...
ok, so I dont own ??.co.uk. That makes sense. Ive been offered .uk's for my own .co.uk's when they were pushing it.

my question is what will happen if i register it with the same info found in the .co.uk's whois record? will it work or will they get notified?

The shortest xx.uk, the .co.uk is actually owned by disney so i think i'll stay away from that one lol.
Just curious to see what sort of traffic they get first off - never mind the nice backlinks.

If you have a corresponding uk domain, you should be able to register. You can contact your registrar for any issues you may be facing if you believe you should be able to acquire a domain. Most of them have live chats.

I thought the .uk was only reserved for a certain period of time and that has now passed. Had a quick search on my own registrar for a few random words and a few were available. Mind you, a few weren't. Found this info:

yeah so .uk domains will be reserved for 5 years for existing .co.uk owners only (unless they later let the .uk drop).

hmm, try and remember to come back to them at 07:59 on 10th June 2019!

also, that says the .co.uk will get notified.
