So yesterday I started an @df.ly campaing just to drive traffic to a new site, and noticed I'm getting some good clicks on my @dsense 300x250 sidebar banner. So far, I've exhaused $1.92 in @df.ly, and have already made $8.54 with @dsense. Percentage wise, I would make around $48 for every $8 spent, which could be good money if I invest more. I've been googling on G's acceptance of @df.ly traffic, but it mostly seems like opinions, rather then fact. Has anyone been running these 2 together for any length of time without any problems? I'm now using this method to spoof the referrer:http://www.contentgeneration.org/cpa-redirector-standalone-version/ so G shouldn't even see that it's coming from @df.ly.

It's not a PTC program, and G states to JUST BE CAREFUL with paid traffic, so I don't see the problem. I'd like to hear from any of you guys that are successfully running both, rather then just hear a bunch of opinions.

If this goes ok, I'll invest a shitload of $ into traffic if it keeps going like this.

You're going to get your adsense account closed. You've been here for so long and you don't know this? The reason Google tells you to be careful with PPV traffic is because you don't know the source. Do you know where ad.fly's traffic is coming from? But that's not even important in this discussion. It's a pretty common fact that Google hates ad.fly traffic. I'd stop now and MAYBE you can save your account.

Of course I know where ******'s traffic is coming from, paid advertisers. Like I said, I'd like to hear peoples EXPERIENCE with this, not opinions. Statements like "It's a pretty common fact that Google hates ad.fly traffic" are opinions, unless it comes from G's TOS or a G employee.

I don't mean to come off as an @sshole, but I've read multiple blogs/forums, where one half says this, the other say that, but none of them have any experience in using both together. @df.ly is paid traffic, just like adwords, adcenter, etc... If paid advertising could NOT be combined with @dsense, then half the sites on the web would not have @dsense on them.

I've had an adsense account closed where I used ad.fly traffic mixed in with organic search engine traffic (because I, like you, thought it was a great idea). I can see you think you stumbled upon a gold mine tho, so continue to send your crap traffic to your sites.

By the way, doesn't that sound odd to you? $48 for every $8 spent? That's $4,800 for every $800 spent. Why isn't everyone doing this? Because either:

    1. Like me, they tried and got banned.
    2. They listened to the people who tried and got banned.

Although you could possibly slip in a "very little" amount of ad.fly traffic and get away with it. But seeing as how you spent $1.92 and if I recall the US based traffic is around $4/1000 or something like that, I'll say you're past that point.

But I'm sure you'll wait until other people come into this thread to tell you the same shit I've just told you, don't want to lose your "good money" after all.

Edit: Maybe you should have posted this thread here: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/f82-adsense/

Well, using the script above, it's showing another referrer other then ******. The worst that can happen is they DO ban my account, which I don't use as my primary source of income, so I won't be heartbroken. I've used the cpa redirect script on numerous cpa networks and have never gotten busted, maybe this time I will. I guess I WILL take the chance, and if I DO get busted, I won't be one of the whine asses you see saying "WHY DID THIS HAPPEN???"

I've always been a risk taker, it makes it all fun.

Pretty sure the CPA networks don't care, it's just Adsense.

If u have multiple Adsense accts and this is an experimental acct, go for it. Otherwise, forget it and your ban will be soon.

Adsense hates all paid traffic, period, except their own from Adwords.

I didn't lose an Adsense acct when I tried what you are doing including some slight-of-hand, but I stopped because I didn't see where I was making decent money. It sounds like you are, but you might want to keep testing and checking before you commit much money to adf because my experience says that traffic sucks at converting. Your test so far is very limited and see how it goes first.

When they ban your account, it will all be laughs, right? LOL!!!

Here is what you need to know about Google Adsense; they love traffic from their search engine and thy like traffic from AdWords. Every other traffic source is scrutinized with a fine tooth comb.

You are not the first person to try hiding or otherwise obfuscating the referrer. All that trick is going to get you is hold on your next impending payment and then an account ban. But it sounds like you want to find this out for yourself? Is that true?

I really don't care if they DO ban my account, there's ways to get a new account, right here on BHW. So far, I've spent $7.60 with ******, and have made $73.97 with @dsense. 3.07% CTR with $0.78 CPC. Oh I'm sure it'll get suspended, but it's given me other ideas, which is all good.
