I am going to be using a cloaker so the look doesn't really matter.
What do you guys recommend as the best seo ready theme for WP?
Does it matter if I am using all in one seo plugin or similar?

I have heard that you one to have one that is coded really cleanly.
You can run it through a html validator that that could help give you an idea.
But i bet someone here can recommend you some actual templates and plugins..

I got sites that can't be validated by validator.w3.org and they get a good position, the theme is important for the viewers but for SEO not so much
 
The best SEO theme should be the lightest theme i.e. properly coded and not too many lines of codes. So go for a nit and clean simple looking theme with clean code. And then you are set.

You can try thesis with some seo plugin.
 
Yeah. There are tons of WP themes available in the downloads section on here.
Make sure that you check them out!
 
To honest it's hard to tell, because for one it's the best for other it's below average.
Just choose a nice looking template, preferable light one and test out few things till it brings you some profit.
 
My favorite is ProSense. Its free and simple. Just google it.
 
I think I will go with just a validated theme. That's the one thing I never thought of :duh:

Studiopress themes (prev revolution themes) are well coded and do well in seo.
