Okay, guys, I am breaking my head over this. So I just set up GSA SER on a VPS for the very first time in my life. Before kicking off my first link building project, I would of course need proxies. So I thought why not buy just 5 private proxies for posting and use public proxies for scraping? So I began hunting around for a good proxy scraper that would fit my needs - maybe I would even just start building links with just public proxies for now and get private proxies later. I tried two software - Proxy Multiply and Dexter Proxy. In spite of both of these software's big claims, both of them seem to work pretty poorly. Most proxies seem to stop working soon after they are scraped. For both of them I have to manually export the proxy list each time. But by the time I do export the proxy list and test it with Scrapebox, most of them have stopped working. I think No Hands Proxies can dynamically scrape new proxy lists continuously and periodically load them up into GSA automatically, although I haven't tried that yet. Am I right? Also, there are proxy list membership sites like IPFreelyProxies - I simply don't know how effective these are. Overall guys, I am super-confused. Is public proxies even an option, at least for scraping? Should I just buy 10 semi-dedicated proxies and just use them for everything from scraping to posting? Should I just forget about public proxies?
