I think the best way would be to load up on links from gambling and gambling related sites.

Gambling does pay.Just harder to promote these days. Squidoo was great but banned all gambling lenses as well as hubpages. People will always be gambling and wacking off so as stated gambling and sex sells

You can buy casino traffic from goclick but in my experience its crap. I used to have a good relationship with casino on net, which I believe is 888 now. The paid me $175 per person that deposited $50 or more into an account. This was in 2000-2003, the money was incredible. Are there still deals like this to be had?

Don't laugh, Harro makes a good point in doing that. Also go to local casino's wearing a hat and shirt with your domain name on it. When you start talking to other players, you can tell them about your site because you know they will ask you if you are sponsored by that site.

Well thats the point. Many huge companies are promoting their ONLINE bussiness on the best old fashioned way. OFFLINE. :)

I promoted my local online biz offline with flyers and posters all over the city. It brought visitors. :)

888.com pays $80 for casino signups. I don't know what they pay for poker signups.

A good blackhat technique that you can use is paying the first deposit of your new referral. This is often $50, while you get $75 or more for the referral. It is not hard to find some people that want a free gambling account :) Programs suchs as PartyPoker and FullTiltPoker allow you to send $$$ to your referrals, so this makes it easy (and safer) to do. PartyPoker gives out good bonusses (called Bonanzas) if you get a lot of signups. I know one person that already made at least $10000 with this technique on PartyPoker. I should also say that PartyPoker doesn't allow US users and that it is very hard to get into PartyPoker's affiliate program these days (they rarely reply to emails). FullTiltPoker accept US users, but they don't allow this technique (which makes it Blackhat :D).

Another technique that can make you some nice cash is writing an ebook that describes how you're guaranteed to beat casino games. They probably don't even work, but if you're a good and convincing writer, you will make money. Embed some aff links in there and you're set :) Here's an example: http://cloakedlink.com/wsipfplqtc

I have done very well promoting gambling since 2002 and I pretty much rely on good ole fashioned seo these days. It's a lot of work but the rewards are well worth it.

Regarding 888, wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole, I'm not going to engage in thrashing them here so if you go with them, you do so at your own risk.

There are too many programs that are so much better. The best programs I know that accept usa players and have good conversion rates, player retention and honesty are as follows:

http://www.rewardsaffiliates.com - captain cook's casino is their best one
http://www.cwcaffiliates.com - clubusa casino converts very well
http://www.c-planet.com - rushmore casino does very well
http://www.slotocash.com - very good player retention for slots players
http://www.bestcasinopartner.com - golden casino has nice retention but can be slow paying

For non-usa based traffic, I like the following:

http://www.wagershare.com - they have huge bonus offers which really convert -spinpalace is their best
http://www.roxyaffiliates.com - excellent retention and affiliate management
http://www.virgingames.com - huge brand and excellent conversions, but they are picky with new affiliates

I've been burned by non-paying casinos, caught casinos that shave stats and have tried pretty much every casino aff program out there. The ones listed above are about the best you can find right now IMHO.

    Hope this helps.
