I have mirrored a site to use as a template but it stores the files strangely. Is there a way to edit the file directories and host as a functional site?

Sorry if that makes little sense. My terminology with this is very poor when it comes to stuff like this

Mate what is your purpose? What for did you mirror the site? I am sure you have a way to edit some settings, but we need more details in order to make advice.

I have a main money site which is hosted by a company and leased to me monthly. They offer many perks etc.

I mirrored the site with permission and I want to have an identical looking front end with my own backend eventually, but for now just want a dummy front end hosted

I can advise you to compare all web hosting services, as it is a top priority for your new web host business to be well-provided with all necessary tools.
You can get nice hosting solutions at Digitalserver.com.mx - these guys know how to keep everything working and running efficiently.

I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good, steady host.
