    Hello guys,

    I want to hide my affiliate links, whats the best way to do that?
    I tried to use redirects using meta refresh tags, but someone told me that is bad for SEO...

    Thanks!

    Regards,
    Tim

    If you want to hide amazon urls, I wouldn't recommend that. Actually, for SEO purposes don't cloak any URLS. I don't even use no follow tag, I simply don't care about that, It won't affect SEO anyways. At least that's how I perceive it.

    Here is a simple php re-direction you can use

    Code:
    <?php
    header('Location:affiliate url');
    ?>

    Thanks SmartMan!

    Ok, I will use that code for my affiliate links, this way, my juice will still run to them right?

    Now I need almost the same thing, but this time to hide websites urls that dont have a backlink to me...
    For example, I have a directory website, and I want to keep the hardlink only for websites that have a backlink.

    Any suggestions? :)

    Don't think too much from a SEO point of view about this thing. Get visitors, make them click and see whether they convert. I think that is the most important part :D

    I was thinking in using xclicks.net for those websites that don't have a backlink, what do you think?
    I just don't want to have my website penalized by google...

    If you have a better solution, please let me know, thanks!

    Having a shorter link like ww w. domain.com instead of ww w. domain.com/ref**8833clicktrhotugh44444322222 is better imo. Also I knew that google doesn't like affiliates much so is better to use nofollow. Some things might have change so I'm not sure if it still applys. I will have to do my research again when I'll start doing seo campaigns

    Edit. I would use Pretty Link plugin on wordpress and use robots.txt to dissallow google to follow the link.

    Thank you for your reply mate, but Im in a new question now hehe

    I was thinking in using xclicks.net or other trade script for those websites that don't have a backlink, what do you think?
