I have just entered the niche where the competition is big. While doing my research I found around 50 competitors in the niche. Amongst them, one guy has around 5 websites(same niche) all his websites have DA above 45 and he roughly getting 500k traffic(ahrefs). I checked the backlinks of his websites and found that most of them have links from top authority websites with DA above 80 and 90(the links are from existing articles pointing to his posts). while most of the other competitors have really sad backlink profile with mostly profile and web2.0 and some paid guest posts links

Now my question is how did this guy manage to get so many links from top websites? while other websites while having decent traffic doesn't seem to get any mention or link from top websites? Did he contacted the authors of the specific posts from the top websites and paid them to get a link back to his website or mention of his website? If that's the case, I would like to follow the same path. But i wonder how to pitch them properly and whats the price that is generally fair and justified here?

Any suggestion will really be appreciated.

Actually, it's a huge process to get published on Top Tier Sites with your own. You have to find domains in your industry then have to contact the site owners for approval and also do negotiations too.
Better you can try any outreach service here in BHW, that will fulfill your requirements in the easiest way I suggest!

I think the outreach services here would be the easiest. At least if you want to do it via white hat methods.

Outreach to them and make sure your content and site look good, if not, they won't even consider it. 99.9% of them will charge you for link insertion, prices vary wildly from website to website.

Yes, My Question is same this thread. i tried to outreach some biggest authority websites. But Mostly sites does not reply. and some sites only give autoreply. here anyone who can tell what's strategy that how to approach biggest sites for Guest Blogging?

Another tactic is being used now. You should only be familiar with one of the owners of a particular popular blog. You can write very relevant articles for this blog (very long useful articles) add backink to your blog, as well as write to other popular blogs' owners and ask them if they want to get a backlink from this popular blog .... well, then I think you know how everything happens further ;)

1 - You can def buy links of that caliber

or

2 - If you have genuinely great and current content, you can also attract some HIGH POWER backlinks by sharing your content in the right social media platforms (reddit mainly)

You can do it two main ways you pay someone to get them for you through like a middleman or pay staff to get them for you . You can if you are good at building up working relationships get free or cheap backlinks but that comes down to your own skills for that being good or bad overall but in general it's probably better you just pay someone to get the links for you .

You will be amazed to find out that high DA sites will be ready to give you a backlink for your great content. You have to be ready to roll out excellent copy that is helpful to their readers.

It is small bloggers that are mean with backlinks.

This is a goldmine:

Write awesome content on your site, get together 100 - 200 of the top competitors sites emails. Drop them all a link with the article, tell them you wrote this article and its relavant to one of their's.. & your willing to do-follow link exchange - rinse repeat.. then rinse and repeat the same articles 12 months later when they have gained some PR.

For some People 301's are a good Method.
So you buy Expired Domains in your Niche (or in general) that already have those backlinks (a couple of them at least) and then you redirect them to your Money Site.
When google crawls the site again and sees that the link is to your site, the Juice will flow. That can take time tho.
But its 10$ / year for a domain or something so you can give it a try

The two most powerful ways that I know of aren’t mysteries.

In fact, they’re not even open secrets.

Sadly, not enough people bother with them because they do take quite a bit of effort.

The first is a press release

You have to issue a press release that has a twist.

In other words, there has to be a reason why news websites and other high authority platforms would want to publish your press release.

Sadly, a lot of businesses and marketers fail to make proper use of press releases because they only think in terms of keywords or special announcements that are obviously commercial and self-serving.

How do you get your press release published far and wide

Think about the hot topics in any given year.

For example, in the world of dating, many people are wondering which category of guys most women of any ethnic group would prefer.

OkCupid published their statistics based on racial breakdown.

This attracted a lot of backlinks from the rest of the internet because people are curious: which racial groups prefer which males or females of which groups?

The same goes with adult sites publishing viewing trends broken down by region.

Pornhub, for example, turned a lot of heads and got a lot of backlinks when they published a report that highlighted porn viewing habits of people who live in the USA’s Bible belt.

I hope you get my point.

You have to look for a somewhat controversial or spicy topic, look at whatever data or information your business has, and present it along those lines.

You’d be surprised as to how many outlets would publish your press release if they feel that it’s newsworthy.

That has always been the secret of effective PR marketing.

It has to be newsworthy

And the good news is, most businesses have access to information—or can spin information—that can appeal to people looking for some sort of spicy topic.

That's great advice and you're right people aren't using Press Releases the correct way. I've never done one before but I've looked into it. Thanks for the thought worthy content. I will think about how this can apply to my own business and see if I can make some useful content and post a press release of it! Great idea!
