Is there some great way to get . edu backlinks without buying lists?

I saw some post on DP claiming that they can get you unlimited edu backlinks, but I figured that since its DP is probably some mainstream method that (newbs like me) don't know about.

Search in google: inurl:.edu "leave a comment"

I worked through the first 20 pages - it's hard going, but I came out with quite a few high PR dofollows, including 3 PR6 links from harvard.edu.

You can also try the same trick with gov sites.

If I'm not mistaken, wouldn't you want ******** links instead?

That's the mistake a lot of people make, No-follow helps you it just does not carry any authority with it. So I guess, a No-follow edu is worth the same as a normal no-follow link. I just proved my point wrong....
