I'm having trouble figuring out how to get article keywords for content. I have money pages and know how to target keywords for goals. It's not as easy as keywords like affiliate interested buyer searches. I just want to make some articles without monetization in mind and snag some easy traffic. Maybe adsense at the most (not worried about CPC).

How do you do content kw research for "random" non buyer keywords?

    Step 1: Target your niche.

Step 2: Use keyword tools to find keywords (low competitive with high search volume) related to your niche. Just give a try on these tools (keywordshitter.com, keyword.io) to find keywords.

If you want to check keyword competition, I suggest you go (www.semrush.com and www.keywordrevealer.com).

You can focus on long tail keywords in your niche-great chance to get targeted traffic to your website. There is a tool called Rank Tracker, it uses 20 different research tools in it, so you can pick different most relevant methods for you and have all the results in one place. Cheers!

cool I picked up kwfinder, it has a "questions" tab that seems to have some info focus keywords. Thanks for your help guys! I'll probably steal some keywords from competitors on semrush too.

Exactly the same way as you would do your "normal" keyword research?

Use your preferred keyword tool and generate a list of relevant keywords to your niche, then weed out irrelevant or too broad keywords, and you'll have a great list of targeted keywords to work with.
