I've been delegated the task of taking care of our business PPC through Google. I have a general idea on how PPC works, but couldn't really find any guides or tips here. (I actually did spend some time looking)

If anyone can help out, that would be great. Maybe a general tutorial of some sort?

Appreciate any help, thanks!

I would say set a budget you can afford to lose.

Don't start adding lots of keywords focus on a small group.

Create one ad group with relevant keywords for each page/product your targeting.

exact match keywords not broad unless you have a much larger budget to start off.

I guess I need to sit down and really put a list together:

1. Budget
2. Keywords

The essential items to properly run a PPC campaign.

There are quite a few tutorials on PPC. You can find hundreds in the download section.
