What's the best social media site for just social media marketing in your opinion? Which one is your favorite?

I think twitter is the best, it's very easy to get followers/traffic from it and twitter is a very suitable website to use bots for marketing.

Personally, I believe it really depends on what you're promoting.
And what you're actually working with. Try them all, or the most obvious ones & see for yourself.
I think that formula is pretty good. :)

Depends on what you are promoting, for example I remember pinterest was very good for amazon affiliates...

Well, when I think about how many of my friends are members on which social media sites, with mine it's FB. Just about everyone I know has a FB, compared to not nearly as many people I know having a twitter.
Only thing I dont like about FB is how controlled everything is as far as amount of likes/follows/unfollows per day.
But like someone else said earlier in the thread, it would be best for you to use all the social media sites when marketing your product.

Same as some people above, it all really depends on what you are trying to promote and your target audiences.

Facebook - Brand storytelling and campaign. Reach - Most types of demographics.

Twitter - Real time participation and 1 on 1 conversations with audience/customers. Reach - Most types of demographics.

YouTube - Distribution of video content(brand) and alternatively, advertising(pre-roll, in video, banner ads). Reach - Most types of demographics, aliens included.

Instagram - Branded visual content and alternatively, buy shoutouts from influencers. Reach - Mainly millennials and teens.

Pinterest - Curate relevant content and alternatively, optimize your website/blog for pinterest pins. Reach - Mostly early 20s women.

Tumblr - Maintain a tumblr blog in parallel with your blog/website. Reach - Mainly millennials and teens.

Vine - Leverage influencers to create branded content. Reach - Mainly millennials and teens.

    Google+ - SEO and content distribution? Reach - I seriously don't know.

    Ciao

Well, in my understanding, you question must be answered as per context. Facebook is best Social Media Platform for targetting General B2C Customer while Linkedin is best Social Media Platform for B2B Customer base.

Can't really decide which is the best with a poll. Because there is no such thing imo. They are all good as long as you know how to use them. I have big accounts on all of them and they all bring in good traffic if you do your research right and use it right ;)

The only thing I woudl say is that facebook and go hang itself. They are bad. ( not traffic wise , you can still get that ) just the way they treat people who buy shit from them. dsfddgg

It totally depends on your niche, if you have a site with amazing images, it's obvious you should start with pinterest. Twitter is easy to use with bots, quite permissive, facebook has gotten harder to market on lately if you're only spamming.

If you have money to spend then facebook ads is the way to go.

Lots of targeting options and you can boil it down to a specific group of people.

I just imagine people looking for the results in the poll.... and the next day the winner will be spammed as hell.

twitter is good if you research your marketing environment (for example, competitors). Fb is better if you want to attract the customers by a good text and visual content.
