I went to flippa to post a site for sale, but I didnt realize they charge almost $30 just to post.
I don't want to do that if the site doesn't end up selling or sells for less than 30

    what would you recommend?

If you're claiming revenue only then you've to pay for $30 otherwise you can pay $9

Experiencedpeople, DP, WF are some good options.

This question has been asked a lot over here so do a quick search and you'll find quite a few threads.

But simply put - you have a couple of other options, such as DigitalPoint and some newer marketplaces like Pricell, but none of them get even close to the amount of buyer traffic Flippa have.

Flippa is best, but if you are getting organic traffic you may contact webmasters from same niche and try to sell your site using that channel.

Flippa is still a leading marketplace for web sites. If for any reason your web site does not sell, then you have a chance to re-list it at 50% off.

Where did you get this from?

I have just tried and it clearly says:
"Your listing on Flippa is $29. Choose from these additional upgrades to get maximum exposure."

If you want, you could even try listing on eBay. Used to sell established sites there for a few hundred each.

Put a new wrinkle on the 'service website' tactic, to create as much value as possible into a new such site without claiming established value for it. Some have had success creating membership sites or web hosting sites with free members. Then you can sell it as a new site on Flippa at the cheaper rate.

Is Flippa worth it if you dont pay 50$ to get featured? I don't seem to get many views on my sites even though I pay 30$ for listing them.

You could try Flippa since it has got the most of the audience. But if you are looking for a free alternative, you might try DP or WF.
