We are looking for new keyword tools. Right now we are using a variety of tools some proprietary and some commercially available. I am trying to find out what company's like Digitas use for their keywords lists on enterprise clients. Some of these campaigns have 50,000 - 250,000.

In your opinion, what's the best keyword tool currently available? Does it data mine? Does it do misspelling? Competition targeting? SEO vs SEM?

    We have a $2,500 budget.

    Thanks guys!

Sure, IMEye. It works a diiferent way from most keyword tools. It's a huge database of about 3 MILLION keywords (so far) searchable and sortable by many different criteria. For example you can search out keywords with a min. of 150,000 searches per month and a max of 100,000 competing pages, etc.

I've heard good things about Market Samurai, but since I don't deal with google or keyword research in general I've never had to use it personally.

Market Samurai and Micro Nich Finder are two other good tools. I liked MNF so much I actually bought it! :) You can get Samurai right here at BHW for free.

That's an efficient way to go. Failing that, I have to also recommend Market Samurai (it also helps you with domain search stuff now too).
