    Hey Guys

been using kaspersky internet security 2010 for a while but it seems that it didn't catch everything. I did a scan with antimalware and found a trojan called password stealer

Has anyone tried Bitdefender internet security ?

Is it good ? according to you which one is the best between those two ?

    Thanks

I've been using Kaspersky and I only have good things to say about it. Seems to have caught everything for me so far.

AV's are like fishing nets. You only see what they caught, never the ones that
    got away.

Yeah that's true. Hopefully everything is ok lol. I guess whats even more important than using AV's is using your head. Don't download fishy stuff from places you don't trust and don't open spam emails. Of course this isn't bullet-proof but it sure will help you at least 80% of the time.

M8, use nod32 but after you install it, go to advanced options ( F5 ) and in all of the scanning options manually select advanced heuristics and the rest.

    Haven't been infected so far

also, do a periodic scan with http://www.malwarebytes.org/

    Thats all you need

This is one of those rare dumb questions... same like asking what's the best car, Yugo or
Trabant. I've been using Eset Smart Security (NOD32 included) for some time, and have
never had problems with malware that belongs in its domain. Recently, I saw that Avira
has much better scores than ESS, has better heuristics, and doesn't consume too much
resources, so I switched to that one. I would recommend any of those two.

    Kaspersky is my vote

Although, as is said before; no antivirus will catch everything.. The key is to not get infected in the first place..

Simple tip: Dont use an administrative account as your every day account on your local machine.. Only use it when necessary.

even the AVG make my computer slow down in process :D

and for now i am using nod32, and so far my computer is clean from trojan and malware.
