And after spending countless hours doing research, chatting / talking and emailing with numerous supplier - and maybe getting scammed a few times along the line - you eventually end up with an item or two that are worth selling
 
That is the hardest part - finding the 'right' item. No one here is going to tell you what that may be. You really have to find it yourself. It's many times a trial and error thing.

You know what they say - try try until you die - or succeed
 
Wouldn't it be nice if people would just cough up their niche item on here. LOL Not gonna happen.

any reputable vendor will accept paypal. if they dont its not because they dont want to, its because they wrecked their paypal account and paypal gave them the boot. Say inside paypal, only deal with gold/premium vendors and you will avoid 85% of the scams. As for deciding a good product to sell, that's where the money is =). One word: replicas. I kinda figured out that no one will tell what they sell, even I left out details in my post of what I'm looking at to sell because I don't want anyone getting the idea to buy the same thing I'm buying... I'm buying my first item right now, hopefully they ship it.
 
there is software you can download which tells you popular items on ebay , start with that then find out what you can actually get hold off
 
I brought 2x SATA III Cables on ebay for $3 with free shipping, so how is it possible to beat those prices ?
 
In my opinion it works like this:

cheap, small items = great for wholesale (buy many pieces in one go, offset your shipping costs)
high value, bulky items = great for dropshipping

won't give you anymore insight than that, but hope it helps
 
One thing I do (since re-selling was more difficult than I thought it would be) is find small items that don't cost much to mail and offer them in a free drawing, or contest give-away. Bulk buying you can find small items for 1 or 2 $, mailing them costs another couple dollars, but people lap up anything free so the increase in traffic can more than offset the costs.
 
high end clothing sells pretty hot on ebay. However, keep in mind that it may strike some flags with ebay and you may be required to provide proof of authenticity. But if you can find a reliable source than this shouldn't be a problem at all.

I just started 6 months ago, and it works fine. Iam starting to make some money now about $ 200,- a day.
Look for hot, new good selling items. Just take a look on some wholesale website's and look what the bestsellers are.

Where do you buy?, directly from the wholeseller? If you want to make supersave transaction buy via wholesale site's.
Iam from Netherlands and buy for thousends of $ each month in China via wholesale site's. You only pay when you recive the goods, when they do not ship, you do not pay!
Most of the times when i recive a package i check it and after 3 days i confirm "package recived" and i pay.

You need to use Terapeak and do some market research. Learn and get a feel for what sells on eBay first.
Then you can find a supplier. Be prepared to buy in quantity with small items and drop ship with larger costly items.
