    I need hosting!

I've got 60 sites, all with some 5k visits per day each. Making some 200k-500k visits per day, page views are 1m plus per day.

Hostgator has a fit with JUST 1 site, saying Im using too many resources. So the rest aren't even with them, but I'd like to find a host that could handle all my usage.

I'm looking to hostwinds $5 per month package, says unlimited bandwidth and sites. So I would think it would be ok, but really don't know.

    Hosting thoughts?

In my opinion, you need a VPS and maybe even a dedicated server. Shared hosting works well with low to medium traffic flow. You can attempt to host all of your sites on one shared hosting account, but you will most likely hog resources or your sites will be extremely slow.

Look into a VPS or dedicated server if you're serious about the sites. I'm guessing these sites are making you money so you should invest the income into a solid VPS or dedi.

Think, If we could all host massive traffic on cheap shared hosting - what would the purpose be of VPS and Dedicated Servers ? Its time to upgrade.

Have you considered cloud hosting solutions? You won't have any speed or scaling issues with those, ever. Like Google App Engine (great for static websites and non php applications), or RackSpace, AppFog, etc.

    Right
    x 60 = 300,000

    Regardless
5,000 + $5 isn't going to happen for long. Wouldn't allow it on mine but we don't mention unlimited.

I would suggest VPS or Dedi.
Otherwise 5. x 60=300 bucks a month + constant scolding from the host.

OP are you wanting to separate for footprints?
    Good Luck!

Ya, I would like to separate for footprints, but dont want to buy a reseller account.

I'm considering hostwinds vps hosting level 2, to see how it goes.
