What is the best book/course/guide you've read or seen about money in general? I want to start learning more, and not specifically IM, but everything about money.

I agree with Mac, assumed that would be in here. Age doesn't matter in terms of investing books so long as it's modern era. If you get deep into finance, those earlier books will still be useful. If you only read one investing book, this should be the one.

Old? Probably more than you think.

Outdated? Anything but. Warren Buffett himself recommends only 3 books on the topic of investing:
    • Wealth of Nations (1776) by Adam Smith
    • The Intelligent Investor (1949) by Benjamin Graham
    • Security Analysis (1934) by Benjamin Graham and David L. Dodd
They're basically as timeless as, say, James Allen's As A Man Thinketh (1903). There are updated editions, yes. But the core message hasn't changed, just been retold with more recent examples to reinforce it.

    I second this.

It is written as a story but you learn the message very well.

Yeah, Warren Buffett is pretty outdated. Saw he lost all his money and is now working at a McDonald's in Omaha.
