I'm using SEO Linkvine to great success but wondered if there were better networks out there...

Be interested to hear other opinions...

"SEO Linkvine to great success"- are you working for SEO Linkvine or do you target low competition keywords? Really...

Best network is mine obviously. And that's because it is 100% targeted to my niche, has posts that are 95%+ readable, has great internal linking structure and inter-site linking structure. It has no sites about "How to train your dog to play on Forex and earn money online to grow his penis naturally so he picks up women in an online casino. All that while he finds out how to loose weight fast." ... if you get my drift.

Yup! Make your own. This way you have complete control over quality, and never have to worry about a blog in a network going down or whatever.
Just my opinion, as this works wonders for me.

No I don't work for them and no I'm not targeting low competition keywords...

So if I wanted to start building my own network how would I go about that?

I'm assuming its not as simple as creating loads of WP blogs related to your niche? To be effective dont they all have to be hosted separately and then you need to build backlinks to them.

How many blogs makes a network?

Any insight you can offer would be much appreciated.

It gets expensive building your own network. I have started and you have to buy a domain then hosting and all on different host accounts. You don't have to build links to your network once it is indexed it is a link but you can make the link stronger building links to it.

I focus on buying domains with PR. I personally don't necessarily set up only WP blogs, but static sites too.
As far as hosting, I am fortunate to have that taken care of, but yeah, you need to have unique ip's to make it effective.

You dont necessarily need to buy your domains to build your blog network. We offer a solution with which you can build your own blog network without buying a sigle domain or hosting ;) ... That ways you dont need to worry about IP's either ;)

    your own without footprints.

hosted on a mixture of TLDs and free web 2.0s

would be wise to use automated scripts to maintain them and register new subdomains.

It's all in the details. If you leave footprints you're screwed. You might invest thousands of dollars in a network and end up with most of the sites in it or even the money site penalized if you don't do it right. However if you do, it works amazingly. Cost is high but you actually have a positive ROI in the end.

SEOlinkvine is great for a few months - then all your posts end up on the same blogs - it goes stale very quickly. Your best bet with those services is to change them every month or so.

I went on a holiday for a couple of months and used linkvana for that time. Some resellers offer hundreds of free posts if you buy through them, so it took me about 2 hours to set up 2 months work. It was the best result I've seen from any network - fucking expensive though!

I would like to build a PR4+ blog network but the problem is I could invest $1400 for 20 sites, but I can't guarantee a ROI.

I feel that it would be important to keep the network high quality with a maximum of 10 posts per month on each one and the quality of the content to be high.

I would have to charge $20 per blog post which would include 500 words of related content.

I do not feel that people here would be willing to pay $20 per blog post and is probably the reason why a decent blog network doesn't exist on BHW, or does one?

I think you're getting the wrong idea here...you should build your farm pointing to somewhere that provides you with profit, like a mfa or amazon site

Yes, BMR still wins the race hands down, followed by AMA, UAW, and Article Ranks.

In my experience the best private blog network is buildmyrank.
However unless I am mistaken it is not possible to input videos into your posts, I am 99% sure that is the case.

i was thinking about building my own network but have this concern. lets say i spend a shite load of money and buy a couple hundred aged domains with pr.

so lets say i have 300 blogs and i have 20 or 30 money sites. would it be safe to link to those sites? would google notice that these 300 blogs have links to same cluster of sites?

so my question is can domain level linking be a foot print even though the articles are unique and anchor link is in article (no bs like sidebar links)

Of the large public networks build my rank takes the most work but you get the most results from it because the posts actually get indexed. After about 100 posts the effectiveness dips though.
