I produce explainer videos, and even though I'm working twice as hard since the start of the month and making double the proposals, Im making hardly any sales at all!

Almost every industry has been hit. People and businesses are not spending so much money anymore. Depending on political decisions, the virus, etc. it might get even worse.

Just keep what you are doing. Bad times are just temporary and once everything becomes normal you will dominate.

Thanks for your support, it really helps.

Im just worried that maybe im doing something wrong, even though my rational logic says im doing the right things. Im getting lots of leads, but im unable to close sales. The reason that businesses are giving me is that in the future they will invest, so it makes sense that they want to wait to see what happens.

However during April and may my sales went up, since businesses investment in online marketing increased, so i thought the same thing would happen now...

September is way down for me as well. About 60-70% from last month. A couple of my affiliate managers mentioned that depending on the product/niche they are seeing a downturn as well.

You don't speak English?
My sales in September have gone down +60% vs Aug.
Down means down but you have +60%. So you've gained 60%.

Almost in every sector, the recession start from this quarter. Unless your client from public sectors don't expect much

Same here! Hopefully another round of stimulus checks/unemployment benefits will push people to spend more money

Historically, September is the Bad Business month...

Stock Market falls! And Cryptos followed this year... all money markets

Some people think souls from Hell are given a break to roam earth and bother everything living:

A simple and logical answer, it starts with Americans chilling out:
Here's one theory, though: Because it's the end of summer, and it's depressing.
Don't fret, however... whatever reason.. REALIZE, it's not you. It's not your business. It's just something within the habitual cycle of people to not spend/earn the usual amounts during this time.

However, the good thing about this, it's a GREAT TIME to work on your project. Many will take a break, get away from the business, but this should mean one thing.

I think that is very normal these days due to the virus........

We'Re selling building materials. This september was one of the beste septembers in the last 8 years.
Caused by corona our sales raised by 300% starting with lockdown on early march - it's not growing that strong now but we build many many recurring customers in the last 6 month.
We've recruited 10 new employes since then.

So you should get into markets that saw a raise throughout the pandemic, as not all niches are hit.

The situation is only going to get worse in the coming weeks. Come December and you would know what I mean.
